Jiffy Lube Live: Gainesville’s large outdoor amphitheater, opened in 1995 as Nissan Pavilion, hosts major touring concerts, with covered pavilion seating and a big lawn for about 25,000 fans in all.
Virginia Gateway: A large shopping center at the junction of Interstate 66 and U.S. Route 29, with dozens of shops and restaurants spread across areas such as the Promenade and the Atlas Walk town center.
Silver Lake Regional Park: A short drive northwest near Haymarket, this 230-acre county park has rolling meadows, a 23-acre lake, and about 4 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails.
