Rolls-Royce Rental in DC: How to Choose and Pricing

Rolls-Royce Rental in DC: How to Choose and Pricing

Renting a Rolls-Royce comes down to two choices: which one, and who's driving. Pick the Ghost sedan or one of our three Cullinan SUVs, then decide whether you'll take the wheel yourself or sit back while a chauffeur drives.

At Supercars By The Day, our Rolls-Royces leave our Rockville garage for weddings, proposals, birthdays, and business trips across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Below, we cover both choices, what it costs, and what to have ready. If anything's unclear, just ask us.

Six steps to your Rolls-Royce day

Most of the planning happens before the day, so the day itself can be all about the car.

1. Ghost or Cullinan?

All four of our Rolls-Royces share a V12 engine and the smooth, quiet ride Rolls-Royce is known for. The Ghost is the elegant sedan, and the Cullinan is the taller SUV, which we have in three very different finishes.

  • For a classic sedan: the 2024 Ghost pairs a white exterior with an all-red interior, a starlight headliner (tiny lights set into the roof lining, like a night sky), and Bespoke Audio.
  • For weddings: the 2023 Cullinan in white is white inside and out, and it's our most-requested car for the biggest days.
  • For something different: the 2022 Cullinan with a blue interior has an all-blue cabin, a color combination you won't often see.
  • For a bolder look: the 2023 Cullinan Black Badge is finished in black, with darkened chrome, bolder styling, and a 600 hp V12.

Each one seats five, including the driver, and takes four suitcases. With a chauffeur at the wheel, that leaves room for four passengers. Bringing a wedding dress, golf bags, or a stroller? Let us know, and we'll check the fit.

Need a child safety seat? One can be added to your booking. If you have an accessibility need, mention it early, and we'll help you find the most comfortable choice. You can see all four cars on our Rolls-Royce rental page.

2. Drive it yourself, or be driven

Choose self-drive if time behind the wheel is part of the experience. We'll help you with the paperwork and show you around the car before you set off. New to renting? Our first-rental guide explains each step in more detail.

Prefer the back seat? With a chauffeur, there's no age minimum and you don't need your own insurance, and your driver handles the traffic and the parking. It's a great fit for a wedding, a night out, or a day with several stops.

Chauffeured bookings run for at least 4 hours, and your hourly rate already includes the driver, fuel, and insurance. Tolls, parking, and any travel beyond DC, Maryland, and Virginia are added at cost. Our chauffeur guide explains how it works.

3. See what it costs

Our Rolls-Royces currently start from $1,599 per day to drive yourself, or $269 per hour with a chauffeur. Each car's listing shows its current rates, and self-drive bookings of 3 days or more get 10% off (20% off for 14 days or more).

Send us your dates, pickup and return times, preferred car, and whether you'd like a chauffeur. We'll check availability and put together a custom quote. For self-drive, ask us to include:

  • Rental price, taxes, delivery charges, and any multi-day discount.
  • The daily mileage allowance and the rate for any miles over it.
  • The security deposit, payment instructions, and cancellation terms.

For a chauffeured trip, share your route, stops, and the hours you need. If your day might run long, tell us, and we'll explain how extra time works.

Planning a wedding or proposal? Decorations can be arranged on request, and you can add fresh roses, champagne on arrival, or our Romance Package (48 roses and a 6-foot bear). Roses are included free with Rolls-Royce bookings of 3 days or more. Share your venue timings, and we'll build them into your quote.

4. Decide where the car meets you

You can collect your Rolls-Royce free of charge from our headquarters at 5701 Wicomico Ave in Rockville, a few minutes from I-270. Or we'll bring it to you: a home, hotel, or venue anywhere in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, or Dulles, Reagan National, or BWI, with a delivery fee based on distance.

Confirm the address and timing with us before the day. For a wedding, share the venue contact, and leave time between arriving, taking photos, and the ceremony.

Flying in? With a chauffeur, we offer meet-and-greet at all three airports and keep an eye on your flight, so an early landing or a delay is already taken care of. For self-drive, share your flight number when you book. Once you land, tell us your door or exit number and level, and we'll meet you there.

5. Learn the car at handover

If you're driving, ask us to show you how to adjust the seat, start the car, and select gears, and to point out any cameras and parking aids. Take a few minutes to get used to the car's size, and leave room to open the doors in a garage or beside a curb.

Before you pull away, take photos of all four sides, the fuel level, and the mileage, and check that any existing marks are written into the paperwork. Stay within the mileage and area we agree on. Racing, track days, and off-road driving are off limits, and yes, that includes the Cullinan.

6. Wrap up the day

Driving yourself? On the last leg, give yourself time for traffic and a fill-up (we'll tell you which fuel to use), and bring the car back at the time and place we agreed. If a warning light comes on or something gets damaged along the way, call us straight away, and don't arrange repairs until we've approved them.

At return, we'll look the car over together. Take your belongings, keep your copy of the return inspection, and ask us for a written breakdown if anything is deducted from your deposit.

With a chauffeur, your driver takes you to your final stop at the end of your booked hours. If your plans change on the day, just call us.

What to confirm before booking

With a chauffeur, there's no age minimum and you don't need your own insurance. If you're driving yourself, here's what to know:

  • Drivers: each driver must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and have insurance approved for the car. Everyone who drives must be named on the rental agreement and approved by our team before pickup.
  • Deposit: each of our Rolls-Royce listings currently shows a $2,000 deposit. It's separate from the rental price and isn't paid by credit card.
  • Cancellation: cancellations receive credit toward a future rental, valid for one year. Where possible, let us know at least 48 hours before your rental starts.

For insurance, mileage, delivery, and other common questions, see our FAQ, or just ask us.
