From the first arrival to the final getaway, a 1965 Mustang adds a touch of old-school romance to the whole day. Here's what makes it special, and how we look after the details.

Meet the 1965 Mustang

Our 1965 Mustang convertible is an original from the Mustang's very first years, restored so it drives reliably today. It's made for weddings, vintage-style photo shoots, and top-down drives where style matters more than speed.

• White paint with chrome details, including the grille, bumpers, and trim.
• A cream interior that suits almost any wedding color scheme.
• A fold-down fabric roof for open-air photos when the weather's nice.
• A V8 engine with that classic Mustang rumble.
• Modern comfort, with an automatic transmission, power steering, air conditioning, and Bluetooth.
• Seats four, with room for one suitcase.

It's delivered washed and detailed. We have one 1965 Mustang in our fleet, so book early, especially for spring and fall weekends.

Made for your wedding day

The arrival. Pull up to the ceremony in a car your guests will remember. Keep the top up on the way to protect hair and veils, then lower it for photos once you've arrived.

The portraits. Set aside a few minutes with the car between the ceremony and the reception. The shiny chrome and cream seats make a beautiful, timeless backdrop.

The getaway. Drive off together as your guests wave you out. With a chauffeur at the wheel, all you have to do is enjoy it.

Before and after. The Mustang is just as popular for engagement shoots, proposals, and anniversaries.

Getting in and out in your wedding outfit

A classic car sits lower than a modern SUV, so take it slowly. Sit down first, then bring your legs in together, and ask someone to help gather a long dress or train. With the top down, it's easier still.

The Mustang has two doors, so rear passengers climb in behind a folded front seat. If a parent or grandparent would find that difficult, a Rolls-Royce, Maybach, or SUV offers an easier step in.

Heading straight to the airport afterward? The Mustang fits one suitcase, so send extra bags ahead or add an SUV to your booking.

Roses and flowers to match

Any of our cars can come with a hand-made bouquet of long-stem roses, placed inside and ready when the car arrives. Order at least 16 hours ahead.

For a bigger gesture, the Romance Package pairs 48 roses with a 6-foot teddy bear. You can change the bear's color, the type of rose, and the number of roses. Allow about a week to prepare it. Champagne on arrival can be added too.

For weddings, our sister company, 2 Sweet Luxury, makes custom arrangements to order:

• Fresh roses for the day itself.
• Eternity roses, preserved to last up to a year, so a piece of your wedding stays with you at home.
• Peonies, hydrangeas, or mixed flowers, in round or square boxes, flowing arrangements, or hand-tied bouquets.

Your flowers are booked together with the car, and we handle the delivery. Share your wedding colors, your theme, or photos of flowers you love, and we'll design arrangements to match. Don't see exactly what you want? Ask, and we'll quote a custom design.

Decorated for the occasion

The Mustang can arrive decorated for your wedding, arranged with your booking. We can dress it with fresh flowers to match your wedding flowers, ribbons in your wedding colors, and a personalized sign, such as "Just Married."

To protect the car's 60-year-old paint, we handle the decorating ourselves, so please don't attach anything to the car without our approval. Have something personal in mind? Tell us in advance and we'll let you know what's possible.

Getting to and from your venues

Chauffeured or self-drive

With a chauffeur. Your driver stays with you for your whole booking rather than leaving between the ceremony and the reception. We'll plan pickup times and the route with you or your wedding planner, and there's no age minimum or insurance requirement when we drive. The chauffeured rate covers the car, the driver, fuel, and insurance.

Driving yourselves. Planning a day-after photo session or a relaxed drive of your own? Every driver needs a valid license, insurance that covers the car, and our team's approval before pickup. We also hold a security deposit, which is returned after the rental. Extra drivers can be added to your booking. Our first-rental guide explains how it works.

Delivery and timings

Pickup from our Rockville headquarters is free. We also deliver to homes, hotels, and venues across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Our wedding venue list includes more than 300 venues, from DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis to Charlottesville, Richmond, Virginia Beach, and Roanoke. Getting married farther away, even out of state? We adapt to your plans and can deliver the Mustang anywhere in the country on a flatbed truck; just give us as much notice as you can. The delivery fee depends on the distance, and if your driver travels outside DC, Maryland, and Virginia, those travel costs are added to your bill.

When you book, share the address of each stop from getting ready to the reception, the time you need to leave each place (not just the ceremony time), how many people will ride in each car, and any venue rules about where cars can drive, park, or be photographed. We'll build the day's timings around them.

Backup plans, just in case

Wedding days don't always go exactly to plan, so here's how we handle the unexpected.

If the Mustang can't be driven. It's been restored to run reliably, so this is unlikely, but a 60-year-old car deserves a plan B. We'll bring it to your venue on a trailer so you still get your photos with it, and a driver will take you between venues in another of our cars, such as a Rolls-Royce.

If the weather turns. On a rainy day, the roof keeps you dry between stops, so ask your photographer and venue about a covered spot for car photos. On a hot day, the air conditioning keeps you comfortable with the top up.

If the day runs late. With a chauffeur, your driver stays with you for your whole booking, so traffic or a ceremony that starts late won't leave you stranded. If things run past your booked hours, call us and we'll work out extra time with you.

If you're booking at short notice. We accept same-day bookings when the car is free, so it's always worth calling. Roses need at least 16 hours, and larger arrangements need more time.

If your date changes. Let us know as soon as you can, ideally at least 48 hours before your booking starts. If you cancel, you'll receive credit to use on a future booking within one year of when you paid. New dates depend on which cars are free.

If the Mustang is already booked. Ask about our 2023 Mustang GT convertible, which also seats four, or a Rolls-Royce for a more formal look.

If your guest list grows. Add another car. A Cadillac Escalade seats six passengers plus your chauffeur.

If your situation isn't listed here. Call us. We're adaptable, and we'll work out a plan that fits your day.

Pricing and packages

• With a chauffeur: from $99 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours.
• Driving yourselves: from $599 per day.
• Roses add-on: from $209.
• Romance Package: from $750.
• Custom arrangements: quoted to your design, from a few stems to 1,000 roses.

These prices are starting points, and every wedding gets a custom quote. Longer bookings come with discounts, and our Signature Roses are free with any reservation of 3 days or more, which suits a full wedding weekend. With a chauffeur, tipping your driver is up to you, and any tolls, parking, or travel outside DC, Maryland, and Virginia are added at what they actually cost. We'll quote your car, flowers, and schedule together as one package.

More cars for your wedding party

The Mustang doesn't have to travel alone. A Rolls-Royce or Maybach suits parents and the bridal party, and a Cadillac Escalade keeps larger groups together. Child safety seats can be added for younger members of the wedding party. We can book several cars together and give you one price for the whole day.
