How to Rent a Ferrari at Dulles International Airport

1. Find the right Ferrari for your trip

Not sure where to start? Browse the vehicle collection or tell us about your plans. For an anniversary weekend, the 2019 Ferrari 488 Spider in Rosso pairs a red exterior and driver-focused cockpit with a retractable hardtop for open-air driving when the weather suits.

It seats two, including the driver, and the listing allows for one suitcase. If you're unsure about space, share your bag dimensions with us so we can discuss suitable options before booking.

2. Know the full cost before booking

Share your dates, travel plans, and preferred pickup and return times. Confirm your Ferrari's availability before paying, and ask for a written quote covering:

• Rental price, taxes, and delivery charges.
• How many miles are included and the charge for extra miles.
• The security deposit, cancellation terms, and any multi-day offer.

The security deposit is separate from the rental price, so allow for both in your budget. Your responsibility for damage can exceed the deposit.

3. Get your documents ready with our help

Ask us which license and insurance documents each driver needs and how to send them securely. Before traveling, confirm that we've approved everyone who will drive. Paying online doesn't complete that approval.

Work with us and your insurer to resolve any gaps in coverage before pickup, and get your agreed terms in writing.

4. Plan your airport pickup with us

Share your flight number and any accessibility needs before you travel. Agree on delivery and return arrangements, including any parking or waiting charges.

Flight delayed? Our team is always available by phone. With your flight number, we can track your arrival and adapt the pickup plan, even if you don't have Wi-Fi to message us.

Once you've collected your bags and are ready outside, contact Supercars By The Day with your exact door or exit number and the Arrivals or Departures level.

We'll coordinate a permitted stopping point and may need to circle back. The curb is for a brief pickup, so agree on a suitable place to complete the paperwork and check the car.

5. Get comfortable before setting off

First time driving a Ferrari? Let us know and ask us to explain the controls, parking aids, and, for the 488 Spider, the roof. If a front-axle lift is fitted, ask how it raises the front of the car to help clear low obstacles.

Before leaving, photograph the car's condition, fuel level, and dashboard mileage reading. Record existing damage in the paperwork.

Keep within the agreed mileage and driving area, and follow posted speed limits. Racing, track use, and off-road driving aren't allowed.

6. Make time for a smooth return

Leave time to refuel and check the car with the team before airport check-in. Use the specified fuel grade and meet the agreed return time, location, and fuel level.

Contact us promptly about damage or warning lights during the rental, and get approval before repairs. Keep the return inspection record and confirm when your deposit will be returned, after any extra charges that apply.

What to confirm before booking

A few essentials, even if you've rented before:

• Drivers: each driver must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and have insurance approved for the car. Everyone who drives must be named on the rental agreement and approved by our team before pickup.
• Deposit: the amount is shown on your Ferrari's listing. It's separate from the rental price and isn't paid by credit card.
• Cancellation: cancellations receive credit toward a future rental, valid for one year. Where possible, let us know at least 48 hours before your rental starts.
